So howcum they spells "wensday" w-e-d-n-e-s-d-a-y? Who stuck the "d" in there?
And just when did "disrespected" become a verb? Hmmmm?
Dontcha just hate it when they verbalize nouns? (Humor)
And I'm still curious about poor old Clementine's fate.
And, oh never mind, and anyway, Sheeeee's heeeere!
Ms. Shawn arrived early and got here about 7AM. Apparently she couldn't sleep on a plane as it wandered around in the dark, so she is crashed out trying to nap while two dogs make it their primary mission in life to make sure she doesn't.
I have, sitting next to me, a big blue duffle bag that weighs sooooo much I'm amazed the plane she flew on could handle it. The coach is now listing to the left, and that's with the leveling legs fully deployed.
Anyway, she flew from Anchorage to Seattle (probably had to go thru Customs) and from there to here all in the dark! I wonder how do they do that? Must use a compass or sumpin'.
At this point I think our plan is to pull out of here about 10 or 11 and do a half day in the direction of Roanoke, VA. Then tomorrow we will complete the trip and find an RV park somewhere in the vicinity of the Cummins dealer. Greg said that some of the dealers offer hook-ups for overnighters, and I will check into that.
I walked around this park, and it has 100 RV spots and I'd say it is currently at about 80+% full. Rigs range from pull toys to mega-monsters.
BTW: Here's a few informal, off-the-cuff, made up by me, RV classes:
Bus = A big, rear engined, diesel powered, monster Class A.
Gasser = A front engined, gas-powered Class A.
Coach = A Bus or a Gasser.
Camper = Not self-powered. Usually pulled with a ball hitch on the back of a truck or car.
Fifth Wheel = A really big Camper towed with the hitch built into the bed of a big pick-up.
Rig = Any and all of the above!
RV = See Rig.
Enough! More later?
Rusty Pistons.
